Shashwat Dham is the divine platform of Sanatan Dharma and spiritual attainment. Amidst the scenic foothills of Dev Chuli in Nawalparasi and spread over 12 verdant acres, the temple is a destination for explorers, spiritual seekers and nature lovers alike to discover ancient knowledge and inner peace. It lies in the Devchuli region of the Nawalpur district on the east-west highway and is 22 km west from Narayanghat, Chitwan.
Shashwat Dham, is the temple of lord Shiva Shree Ekambareshwar Mahadev. With gracious blessing of Sri Kanchi Kotham Shankaracharya Jee, the temple was envisioned with Gurukul. Gurukul was incorporated in guidance of Shankarya Jee as he was worried about lack of karmakanda pundits who are committed towards their duty and virtue. Today Gurukul provides free education to Batuks from various part of the country with objective to deliver devoted pundits who can sustain the Hindu rituals and culture.
There are numerous divine element of Hinduism and Buddhism immersed inside the premise of Shashwatdham. Every Monday Ganga Ararti takes place on the yard of water pond attracting devotees from various part of the country and nearby. The major components of Shashwat dham is it temples. The main temple is the temple of lord Shiva Shree Ekambareshwar Mahadev. Buddhist Chaitya where sacred relic presented by Government of Srinlanka has been laid in the Chaitya which has astoundingly graced the prudential blessing to this platform. Beside these there are numerous other temples like Hanuman temple, Buddha Kunda, HariHar, Nawa graha and 108 Shiva linga.
The major education centers in Shashwat Dham is Vedic Karmakanda Gurukul, where free education to Batuks is provided, from various part of the country with objective to deliver devoted pundits who can sustain the Hindu rituals and culture.
