Vasant Panchami, also known as Saraswati Puja is a festival that marks the preparation for the arrival of spring. It is celebrated every year on the fifth day of the bright half of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month of Magha. On this day, devotees, especially students, worship the Mother Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art & wisdom and seek blessings to eliminate ignorance.
