A team of 18 people, including a prince from Bahrain, has returned to their country today. They had arrived in Kathmandu on a chartered aircraft on September 16.
The team consists of 15 Bahrainis and three British nationals serving in the Bahrain Defense Force. After coming to Nepal in the difficult situation of Covid 19, they had to stay in quarantine at Gokarna Resort for one week. Then they climbed Lobuche and Manaslu mountains respectively.
On October 6, Prince’s team had reached Samagaun in Gorkha to climb Manaslu. Earlier, the team, including the prince, had successfully climbed Lobuche in Solukhumbu on October 5. The Prince of Bahrain’s team is the first mountaineering team after lockdown to climb the mountain.
