The construction of the tower for Bungy Jump of The Bungee Nepal Adventures Pvt. has been completed. It is said that after resuming international flight, within a few weeks as technical and some goods are yet to arrive from Japan due to the embargo, the construction will resume and the Bungy Jump will start. The Bungy Jump is only 3Km from Lakeside. It is Just behind the Mountain Museum situated at Pokhara-17 Mahatgaunda.
Raju Kunwar, Durgadatta Kharel, Dil Gurung, Damodar Baral, Bhupal Bahadur Baral Chhetri, Shanti Lamsal Bhattarai and Budhinath Baral have invested Rs 80 million in the company headed by Santosh Bhattarai.
A 55-meter-long platform for bungee jumping has been constructed from the base of the 35-meter-high tower designed by Cantilever Bridge.
The bungee platforms being built on the banks of the Seti River will be at 121 and 125 meters from the river. Bhattarai said that ordinary bungee jumping will be done from a 121-meter high platform and special jump including bicycle jump, bucket jump will be done from a 125-meter high platform.
Bhattarai informed that Madani Creation, a company working in adventure photography and videography, will make photo videos of customers who come to do bungee jumping.
Bhattarai claims that the Bungy was built according to ISO standards. Bhattarai says that work is being done in technical coordination with the internationally known Bungy name ‘Go Bunjy’.
The 35-meter-high bungee tower is being turned into a view tower, where the tower can be climbed. A restaurant has also been constructed along with the office in the Bungy complex.
