Batika festival is going to be held in Hotel Batika Nepalgunj. The festival is being organized by Hotel Batika on March 6, 2021. It has been informed through a press conference in Nepalgunj Wednesday that the important dishes of Nepalgunj will be kept in the festival as an identity.
Managing Director of Hotel Batika, Shivangini Rana said that the festival will have 19 important stalls including Chaulikka’s Haluwa Paratha, Ice Cream, Krumbel, Boutique, ClassicTech Internet, Matri Pickle, Beni Fitness, Dosa, Service Cleaning, Indian Gurkha Soldier Training Center, Delitech (IT), and Vintage College.
Rana claims that this is probably the first time that such a festival is being held outside the capital. She said the sole purpose of the food festival is to build a community network and promote the local business of Nepalgunj.
According to the organizers, the festival will be held from 9 am to 6 pm on March 6. The festival is sponsored by Century Bank. The entry fee to the festival is free.
