Yati airlines is going to sell cheap packages in about one and a half dozen tourist destinations. The company unveiled the package on Monday on the occasion of its 22nd anniversary.
According to the chief executive officer of the company Anoj Rimal, these packages will help in accelerating air travel and tourism that has been opened after a seven-month-long ban. “Now the airlines are not only connecting the passengers to the destination, but they will also make people visit the destination,” he said. “That’s why we have brought the package at an attractive price.”

According to the spokesperson of the airline, Sudarshan Bartaula, the package sale has been started with the aim of promoting domestic tourism and this package will start from October 2020. At present, the package is targeted at Pokhara, Everest Trail, Muktinath, Ghandruk, Chitwan and Rara.
Meanwhile, packages with two-way tickets have been prepared for Nepalgunj, Bharatpur, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Bhadrapur and Tumlingtar. These destinations are priced according to the standard of the hotel. Hikmat Singh Air, the senior officer of the Nepal Tourism Board, called for the package to include destinations including Pathibhara in the east and Khaptad in the west.
Chairman of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAN) Khum Bahadur Subedi said that such a package would provide relief to the stalled tourism business. Chairman of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents, Achyut Guragain said that the packages brought by the airlines giving priority to domestic tourism would help in creating an environment for traveling within the country.
Passengers will be flown from Yati and Tara Air from the nearest airport of the package destination.
