Bardia, 19 October: The Bardiya National Park (BNP), which remained closed for a long time owing to COVID-19, has allowed safari, adopting a strict measure of health standard.
Travelers from the country and abroad were banned in the BNP since March 20 citing the coronavirus pandemic. Now, after people are allowed entry for safari, visits’ movement is upped at Thakurdwara.
The visitors are however permitted for a safari only in the route the BNP administration has determined.
Only 60 percent of passengers are allowed in the vehicle to be used for safari, while there will be no more than four in a group to roam in the park on foot, according to an assistant conservation officer, Maheshwar Niraula.
There are 29 modern hotels and resorts inside BNP. More than 3.50 billion has been invested in modern hotels and resorts. (RSS).
